Gidee-Up!!

Mr.Blake's birthday isn't for another 6 weeks, but I'm getting antsy and wanted to get him an early gift. My company had a cook book cover design contest and I won a $50 Gift Card to Target....so Blake and I went and did some shopping last night. He got the rocking horse above and some rubber building blocks. He got so excited with the horse, he figured out how to rock back and forth right away....can't get on yet by himself but I'm sure that won't take long.

And here is just a cute picture of Blake playing with Sally the other night while I was making dinner. He just loves his puppy so much, and he must think he's the next Crocodile Hunter!

Cabin and Roadtrip....A Long weekend

We had a long but very fun weekend. We had a big weekend up at the cabin, then decided to take a day trip to Duluth as a Family on Sunday. It was a beautiful day and so glad we could make the trip. We hope to go back for a weekend sometime in the near future, spend more time seeing everything with Blake.










Hope everyone enjoys what's left of Summer, Labor Day is just around the corner....should be another fun weekend up north!

Something to Enjoy for the day...

There is a wonderful, beautiful place here in St.Cloud. Munsinger Gardens is it's name......it's one of the best places to go from Spring through Summer. We have visited the Gardens about 4 times now this year, each time there have been different flowers in bloom. This week the flowers were full and the garden smelled so awesome, especially the Lavender. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Look what I can do!!!

This weekend Blake decided to show off for Family and Friends.....his new accomplishment:





He's so proud of himself, he will just stand there for a long time and you can tell he's thinking about walking, but just isn't quite ready yet. We're so amazed at every thing he does, and he is so happy all the time.

Last week Sally and I decided to pick Blake up from daycare on our walk, well we got about 3 blocks away from daycare after picking him up and it started to rain. He liked the rain though and didn't want to be totally covered up by the canopy on the stroller. So all 3 of us got pretty wet, but it was fun.

Blake is 10 months old

Well this past Saturday Blake turned 10 months old.....that means we only have 2 months until he is 1. Very exciting....but crazy how fast time has gone by. Here are some shots I took of our "big" boy.










Sunday we took Blake to the Benton County Fair here in St.Cloud/Sauk Rapids. Mainly went for some fair food....but thought it would be fun to show him all the baby animals. It was the perfect day to go walk around.

Echo...echo..echo....

Is there an echo in here? Haha. Blake was playing with one of his toys last night and it was making an echo when he would talk into it. He thought it was so funny...all these new noises are so interesting! Of course Sally had to get in on some of the action too....she just loves playing with him.




He also is loving his Ravioli...his friend Emelia introduced him to the yummy stuff when we had lunch together about a month ago. She got him hooked! Thanks Em!

Back from the weekend...

Well we are back from a relaxing weekend up north. Blake and I headed out of town Friday, early to beat traffic. We stopped in Brainerd to visit my Grandma, then headed up to the lake. Saturday we spent the day at Grandma's to celebrate her 83rd Birthday (which officially is tomorrow August 5th). We had a great lunch together, and had some yummy cake!

Welcome August!

Well it's officially the LAST month of summer (although summer doesn't really end til sometime in September, and we're hoping the weather stays nice just as long).



This weekend Blake and I are going up to this beautiful place




And Celebrating the 83rd Birthday of the Little lady on the Right of me (my Grandmother of course)




And....hopefully do a little of this too!
