Bountiful Harvest

We decided to try our hand at growing carrots this year.....they finally have started getting bigger, and even though they weren't ready to pull, we pulled a few to try. Blake has been so excited about these carrots...and I'm suprised the bunnies/squirrels haven't taken them all!

Girly Camo

Eric's dad and step mom sent Olivia her 1st Camo outfit this week....girl has to be ready for the deer hunters banquet in 2 weeks! She looks so cute in it!

Lazy day at the MN Zoo

We went to the MN Zoo while home this past weekend....My parents took all of us. It was a beautiful day to walk around, but the animals were all pretty lazy (Other than the new Penguins which were having fun swimming all over).

Itasca/Headwaters of the Mississippi

Sunday we headed to Itasca for part of the day....the last time we had been there, I was pregnant with Blake. It was fun to take the kids to cross the Mississippi. Blake knows we live by that river, but he also knows you never go swimming in it. Here he could! Olivia had fun too....her face doesn't really show it, but she loves swimming and water.After they played for a bit, they saw a snake swimming on the top of the rapids area....that was kind of cool to see, and glad I wasn't in that part of the water!

Camping....KOA Bemidji

I had a day off with daycare being closed, so we had planned on a nice long camping weekend....but then rain was forcasted, so we cancelled those plans. After the rain went through, we decided Saturday to head up to Bemidji (after dropping Sally off at my Gma's in Brainerd)....and camp for the night. We arrived and set up camp....went out for dinner, then came back to make smores and go to bed. Sunday started early as Olivia thought 5:50am was a good time to be up. It was a long day! We headed to see Paul Bunyon and Babe after breakfast, then went back to pack up camp and get on the road to Itasca. We stayed at the Bemidji KOA, which was a nice campground.....we would definetely go back!

Munsinger....trip 3

We headed to Munsinger tonight, the whole family....for a much needed walk around. It was a beautiful night to be outside!
