Dancing in the Cupboard

Blake was having fun playing in the Cupboard last night, we got a video of him playing and talking....doing a bit of dancing. He was dancing a lot more this morning, but I didn't have time to get my camera out and ready before he wanted to get out.

Here are more pics of our little cutie pie. He's home again after spending several days with Gma and Gpa Hicks up north.....I think he had a great time and we are so greatful they were able to take him for us while Daycare was on vacation (I'm sure they are enjoying some quiet time again though!!)

Blake had some cake/cupcake this weekend when I went to visit him up north. Grandma and mommy did some baking while Blake was napping, had to make some Fall cupcakes...gotta get ready for the big birthday party coming up, I'm sure he'll be making a huge mess!

Last Trip to Munsinger for the Year

Blake and I took our last trip over to Munsinger Gardens on Sunday. Eric was working on sanding the cabinets so we can finish our kitchen remodel, and it was loud....so we got out of there. It was nice to walk around and see all the pretty flowers before it gets too cold.







September is almost coming to an end already, and Blake will be 1 in 2 weeks from today. Our baby is going to officially be a toddler. He has figured out that walking is his fastest way to get anywhere and he sure cruises. He turns around really well and can walk while carrying pretty much anything.

Baby Isaac Thiele

Our friends just had their 1st baby, a boy a week ago. He was born just before 27 weeks, and was 2lbs 10oz at birth, 14 inches long. He's now 2lbs 5oz but is doing great. Pretty much breathing on his own. Eric and I went to meet him at the Childrens NICU in Minneapolis on Saturday, he was just adorable!

Reminiscing

Blake will be a year old in just less than 3 weeks now, it has been so amazing to watch him grow and see all the new things he learns. He is always smiling, wanting to cuddle, giving kisses and now walking all over the house. He also talks up a storm, all in his own language, but still talking. He does say Mama and Dada, and occasionally suprises us with new words like "pup" for puppy. He sure does love his puppy.



He had a rough start to life, my complete labor was 20 hours in the hospital once my water broke. I pushed for just over 4 hours when my doctor brought in an OBGYN to look at our situation. He suggested using a vacuum extraction, so we tried that. An hour later and Blake was born. He was a bit sore after that, part of his scalp was partially seperated from his head, but that healed and went down quickly. It looked worse than it was. His nose was all smashed because he had gotten stuck on the way out, so he snorted like a little pig when he cried. It was cute. He was a big boy too...9lbs 6oz and 21 inches long. Thankfully he came early, otherwise he probably would've been a good 10lbs.



We love our little boy more than anything in the world, and can't wait to see all the things to come in the future!

We had pudding the other night after dinner, Blake was a bit Dainty eating it at first, then grabbed a handful of it and went to town.

Walk This Way....

Here is Blake walking....he walked all weekend. It is just so cute. He gets really excited once he gets to me or Eric. It was kinda odd but so cool to see him just stand up and start walking. He really gets it now, our little baby is really growing up!

11 months old

Blake is now 11 months old, as of yesterday. I think he is getting more teeth in because he's been super cranky and drooling all over everything again. He's also just wanting to chew on anything. Luckily it hasn't disrupted his sleep yet....just play time.





He is walking a bit more (when he wants to) and trying to say some new words. He has been working on "yellow" and "blue" the past couple weeks.





He went to his 1st Deer Hunters Banquet....his Grandpa Weller runs the club and the banquet so we go every year. Blake was decked out in full Camo, Grandpa had gotten that for him when he was born. It was very cute. Blake even won a prize....a hunting backpack filled with goodies. We'll have to try and get a pic of him in the Camo again, before he outgrows it!

We start our Fall session of ECFE tonight (Early Childhood Family Education) so that will be fun....it's nice to get out of the house one night a week and play with friends!

Back from a nice long Labor Day weekend!

Hoep you all had a great Holiday weekend. It seemed really long, which was extremely nice to have all that time to relax. We went out on the pontoon a lot, Blake talked up a storm and finally took his 1st Official walking steps! He also decided after months of practicing that he would clap his hands, he loves doing that now!



Blake decided to climb up Uncle Phill's back on Sunday while we were cooking breakfast. He had a blast riding around, he's such a little monkey!!



Saturday afternoon, Chuck let us take his Charger out to the Legion. They were having a Pork chop and Corn feed.....it was so amazing and is making my mouth water so bad right now!! The car was pretty cool too....have never rode around in anything like that before!
