Wading pool

Our neighborhood wading pool was scheduled to close this summer, due to budget cuts. Amazingly our neighborhood raised all the money (and more) that was needed to keep it open. So awesome to have everyone work together!

Blake and I headed over today since it is so gorgeous outside....only spent about 30 min there since someone needed a nap and was getting cranky. We'll be heading back again today...can't sit inside when you can play in the pool!
Blake also got a haircut today...he def. isn't a baby anymore!

Daddy Time!

Daddy came home early last night and Blake just loved it! They played and took a walk and cuddled with lots of books. Little guy misses his daddy.

Boy oh boy....suckers are fun.

Blake and I got some groceries tonight, and when we went to pick them up in the drive through (it was raining otherwise I always do carryout myself)....the nice man loading them gave us suckers. You can see how Blake felt about it...

Weekly Happenings

This week at the Wellers....Blake finally got his own "chair" to sit on in the living room. I found him a little kids bean bag and so far he likes it.

(he's a bit messy here....we had just gotten home from daycare)

Then tonight before bath time...he just decided to get up in his high chair and grab a book to read. How cute is that?

We have Baby Birdies!!

3 out of the 4 eggs have hatched and we have babies!! Just in 2 days they have grown so much and momma Robin is being extremely protective of her little "tweets". They aren't the cutest thing on earth....but they are new babies trying to survive in this odd summer cold spell.

Duluth!

Blake and I went to Duluth this past weekend to hang out with our friends Amanda and Lexi. We stayed at the Edgewater water park hotel....Blake didn't love the place, but Lexi did. Blake was ok going in the regular pool since it was more quiet, but the kiddie area freaked him out!

Before we checked in, we went to Thrillz in Canal park, basically an indoor play area for the little ones. They had a ton of fun going down the slides and through the tunnels.

Sunday we went to the Duluth Childrens museum and Train Depot. It was pretty cool....Blake got to Shoe a horse (fake of course) and we checked out all the old trains!

Sick boy

Blake was sent home early today from daycare....poor guy has a stomach bug and has puked a few times. Has a slight fever and is just listless. We did a lot of cuddling tonight.

Laying on the floor while watching a movie...he was just content, usually something that he never does.
