She stands!

Olivia is starting to stand a bit on her own....she will let go of what she's holding onto, or we let go of her hands. I don't think she quite knows exactly what she's doing.....but she is starting to stand on her own a bit. Eeek!

Bubbles....those are my bubbles

Since it's been sooooo cold out, we've decided to "play" with bubbles in the house. Blake loves bubbles and Olivia seems to like them as well. We have various bubble blowers, the long bubble wands are my favorite. Last spring we got this bubble gun for Blake....it blows a ton of bubbles at one time!

"Da-Da-Da"

Yes....that is right. Olivia's said her 1st word....and just like her brother, it was "da-da". Hopefully soon she'll also learn ma-ma....I know it's coming!

"So Big....the Clapper"

Miss Olivia just loves to clap, and I think she might be trying to say "yay!!!" when we clap together. So cute how much she's learning and catching on to things.

No More Monkeys jumping on the....

Couch. I captured our monkey doing something he's not supposed to do. But it's kinda cute when he's singing the song to me.

We did a project this weekend, made a cute puppy mask. I did most of the work though since it was a lot of cutting.

Time to Play!

Olivia wanted to play with the bean bag last night, so we were spinning her around on it. She got a kick out of that.

Little Man

After taking Olivia's pictures yesterday, Blake wanted some taken of him too. So while she was eating dinner, I got him ready and took some pictures. He was acting goofy like always.

Olivia...9 Months

Well she's almost 9 months....only a few more days. We had her own little photo shoot this morning after nap. I think I only got about 1/4 of the shots where she didn't have her thumb in her mouth, but she was still so smiley!

Only 3 more months until we will be celebrating her 1st Birthday!

New camera pics

I got a new camera for Christmas, a Nikon L110. It's a step up from my old Cannon P&S, but not quite the DSLR my mom has (that I borrowed). I love it though...it has great zoom and so far takes really nice pictures. Just have to play with it to find the right settings.


The kids eating dinner together. I realized I could pull O's high chair up to the table so she could actually eat "with" Blake instead of just next to him. They love it. She is on all table foods, except if we travel and I need to bring a jar of baby food with.



Favorite new thing, standing. Here is our Miss O, with Olivia the Pig on tv. I took the pic of Olivia, then noticed it was on in the background. Olivia pulls herself up to everything now, will stand 1 handed, and once in a great while...she'll let go and stand alone, but just for a couple seconds, then she is back on her booty.

My handsome little man...after a haircut. Every day is an adventure with Blake, some good and some bad...but it's always interesting. He's still very loving, wants to cuddle and is always wanting "something" to eat. He sings no matter where we are, plays with Olivia, gives her hugs and kisses and throws in a bit of sass to top things off.

And last but not least....Sally. Snuggle bug.

Oh Deer....

New Years morning, we were having our coffee by the fireplace and looked out the window to see 2 beautiful deer in the woods. I zoomed in with my new camera and got some nice shots. They were just standing there, grooming themselves, shaking the snow off, then one dug a hole in the snow and layed right down. It was really cool to watch.

Christmas, version 3.0

Well we are officially done with Christmas. We had our 3rd and last celebration this past weekend, at the cabin. Although the weather turned wicked, we all made it and enjoyed ourselves. Lots of food, drinks and laughter....oh and 2 cutie patooties as well!
